ALAN DAVIS

Alan has lived in Dorset from birth and has worked with stone straight from school, attending Weymouth college to learn the art of stone masonry and letter cutting.

He has worked in numerous Quarries and had the privilege of working alongside many experienced local stone masons though his early years, and has been self employed now, for over 40 years.

With a Workshop near Wareham he can make pretty much anything you may require from stone, slate, marble and many more materials.

Alan has a deep love of nature and enjoys spending much of his free time exploring the wonderful Dorset countryside, observing the unique local geology. and kayaking the rugged coastline. He also a keen birdwatcher and this is evident in his carvings and sculptures.
